Health Innovation Concept

Project Type: Health Innovation & Conceptual Project  ·  Status: Conceptual Project · Not Implemented  ·  Focus Area: Healthy aging (ages 60+)  ·  Mahya’s Role: Project Contributor

A conceptual health-service innovation project exploring ideas to support healthy aging among adults aged 60 and above.

Overview

Salamatkadeh 60+ was a conceptual, team-based project exploring ideas for a health-service innovation aimed at supporting healthy aging among adults aged 60 and above. It was developed at the level of an idea and concept exploration, and it was not implemented as an actual health service, platform, or programme.

Concept Description

The concept centred on identifying ways that a dedicated service or resource for older adults might support healthy aging, drawing on general awareness of the needs and interests of this population group. The project remained at a planning and idea-development stage, without a built product, service infrastructure, or piloted programme behind it.

Motivation & Context

The project was motivated by broader interest in health-service innovation for aging populations, an area of relevance to nursing and community health more generally. It was approached as an academic and conceptual exercise in health-innovation thinking rather than as a funded or operational health-service initiative.

Exploratory Activities

As part of developing the concept, some informal exploratory exercises were carried out to gather general impressions relevant to the idea. These were informal in nature and are not presented here as formal research, surveys, or data collection, and no structured study, validated instrument, or formal analysis was involved.

My Contribution

Mahya Moshtagh’s role on this project was as a project contributor, taking part in the concept development and idea exploration alongside the wider project team.

Status & Limitations

Salamatkadeh 60+ remained a conceptual project. It was not implemented as a health service, platform, or programme; no formal research or data collection was conducted; and no outcomes, users, or results exist to report.
